Matematicianul german Joachim Rittsteig susþine cã a descifrat codul secret al civilizaþiei Maya, ceea ce în opinia sa ar putea contribui la localizarea comorilor de aur ale mayaºilor din Guatemala, relateazã marþi (8 martie 2011) presa mexicanã, monitorizatã de RIA Novosti.

Într-o înâlnire cu presa, omul de ºtiinþã german a declarat cã la baza descoperirii sale, despre care susþine cã este una ce va face senzaþie, se aflã unul din cele patru manuscrise Maya – aºa-numitul Dresden Codex, care se pãstreazã la Dresda ºi care a supravieþuit în mod miraculos incendiilor din epoca inchiziþiei spaniole. Pentru a descifra textul, destul de anevoios, savantul german a avut nevoie de circa 40 de ani.

Acest manuscris are 74 de pagini ºi o lungime de 3,56 de metri. Dimensiunea unei pagini este de 20,5 pe 9 centimetri. Dintre codurile Maya existente, acesta reprezintã cel mai frumos ºi cel mai vechi manuscris. El se remarcã prin eleganþa liniilor, precum ºi prin culori uimitoare.
'Descoperirea codului secret mi-a permis sã citesc integral Dresden Codex, în care la pagina 52 am descoperit cã vechea capitalã a mayaºilor Atlan a suferit un cutremur devastator la 30 octombrie anul 666 înainte de era noastrã ºi s-a lãsat pe fundul lacului Lago de Izabal din estul Guatemalei' – a relatat omul de ºtiinþã.

În oraºul antic mayas se pãstrau circa 2156 de tãbliþe de aur pe care erau încrustate legile dupã care se ghida strãvechea civilizaþie Maya, spune el. Cercetãri recente efectuate cu ajutorul sonarului au confirmat ipoteza omului de ºtiinþã german. Pe fundul celui mai mare lac din Guatemala, cu o suprafaþã de 589,6 kilometri pãtraþi ºi adâncimea de 18 metri, au fost gãsite vestigiile oraºului antic.

Potrivit lui Rittsteig, într-unul din sarcofagele din piatrã de pe fundul lacului se aflã cele 2156 de tãbliþe de aur, cu o greutate aproximativã de opt tone. Valoarea acestora s-ar ridica, conform estimãrilor sale, la cel puþin 290 milioane de dolari. În prezent, omul de ºtiinþã german se aflã în cãutarea unor sponsori pentru o expediþie pe fundul lacului Lago de Izabal din Guatemala, în cãutarea aurului mayaºilor.

America a fost cucerita in urma cu cel putin 15500 de ani, cu 2000 de ani mai devreme decat se credea


Descoperirea în statul american Texas a unui sit arheologic ce conþine mii de vestigii datând din urmã cu 15.500 de ani devanseazã cu peste 2.000 de ani data sosirii primilor ocupanþi ai Americii, repunând sub semnul întrebãrii teoriile actuale despre colonizarea acestui continent. Potrivit teoriilor actuale, primii americani au aparþinut populaþiilor din cultura Clovis, ale cãrei vestigii au fost descoperite în mai multe situri arheologice începând din anul 1932, potrivit mediafax.ro.
Oamenii din aceastã culturã - caracterizatã printr-o tehnicã specialã de ºlefuire cu douã tãiºuri a uneltelor din silex - ar fi venit din Asia în urmã cu 13.500 de ani, prin strâmtoarea Bering, în timpul perioadelor glaciare. Ei s-ar fi rãspândit apoi pe întregul continent ajungând pânã în sudul Americii de Sud.
Însã, noul sit arheologic texan, denumit "Debra L. Friedkin" ºi amplasat la o distanþã de 60 de kilometri de oraºul Austin, evidenþiazã un numãr de vestigii fãrã precedent referitoare la o cucerire a continentului american anterioarã celei realizate de populaþiile din cultura Clovis.
Astfel, sunt repuse sub semnul întrebãrii teoriile actuale despre primele populaþii americane, a declarat Michael Waters, directorul Centrului de studii despre primii americani din cadrul Universitãþii Texas ºi principal autor al unui studiu legat de aceastã descoperire, publicat în revista Science.
"Aceastã descoperire ne obligã sã reformulãm teoriile despre începutul colonizãrii Americii. Fãrã niciun dubiu, aceste unelte ºi arme au fost confecþionate de cãtre oameni ºi sunt vechi de aproximativ 15.500 de ani, ceea ce face ca ele sã devinã cele mai vechi vestigii descoperite pânã în prezent în America de Nord", a declarat el.
Michael Waters a subliniat în cadrul unei teleconferinþe faptul cã teorira despre ocuparea continentului american de cãtre populaþiile din cultura Clovis prezintã câteva lacune importante.
Astfel, nu existã nicio urmã despre "tehnologia" tãierii uneltelor din silex de cãtre populaþiile Clovis în nord-estul Asiei de unde ar fi venit aceºti colonizatori.
În plus, vârfurile de sâgeþi din silex descoperite în Alaska ºi care preced cu 1.000 de ani sosirea triburilor Clovis, sunt ºlefuite într-un mod diferit.
Totodatã, ºase situri datând din aceeaºi perioadã cu populaþiile din "cultura Clovis" ce au fost descoperite în America de Sud nu conþin niciun vestigiu ce ar putea fi asimilat cu aceastã "culturã".
"Aceste fapte ne duc la concluzia cã populaþiile Clovis nu au fost primii americani ºi alþi oameni au ajuns înaintea lor în America", a adãugat Michael Waters.
În plus, arheologii, care cãutau de mulþi ani indicii despre situri anterioare celor din cultura Clovis în America de Nord, America Centralã ºi America de Sud, au descoperit mai multe astfel de situri care sunt "credibile".
Acelaºi specialist menþioneazã douã situri din statul Wisconsin care dateazã din urmã cu 14.800 de ani: peºterile din Paisley din statul Oregon (14.100 de ani) ºi situl Monte Verde din sudul Americii de Sud (14.500 de ani)." - realitatea.net





Luna, copilul atomic al Pãmântului?

Cei doi savanþi olandezi susþin cã asemãnãrile izbitoare dintre compoziþiile chimice ale Lunii ºi Pãmântului se datoreazã faptului cã satelitul natural a fost, la un moment dat, o parte a planetei noastre. Mai mult, modelele oferite de evoluþia sistemului solar aratã cã probabilitatea ca douã corpuri cereºti ce se ciocnesc în spaþiu sã aibã aceeaºi compoziþie este infinit de micã.
Aceºtia cred cã teoria lor va putea fi confirmatã cu uºurinþã în momentul în care misiunile spaþiale pe Lunã vor aduce pe Pãmânt mostre ale solului selenar, extrase de la mare adâncime.

Radiatii solare. Gaura din stratul de ozon ajunge deasupra Romaniei

Pericol de radiatii saptamanile urmatoare. Atentionarea vine de la specialistii Centrului European de Meteorologie, care anunta ca nivelul radiatiilor solare va fi in crestere din cauza subtierii rapide a stratului de ozon.
 
Subtierea rapida a stratului de ozon din zona arctica a fost detectata prima data de o retea internationala de peste 30 de sonde raspandite in regiunea Polului Nord.
Cele mai recente masuratori si previziuni ale Centrului European pentru Mediu arata ca gaura din ozon va ajunge deasupra Europei, in Scandinavia si in partea de est.
Datele la care vom fi, practic, descoperiti in fata radiatiilor solare sunt 30 martie si 31 martie (miercuri si joi), au anuntat initial cercetatorii germani. Contactat de Stirile ProTV, Markus Rex, cercetator la Institutul de Cercetari Polare a declarat ca prognoza anterioara a fost facuta pe 14 martie si ca de atunci lucrurile s-au modificat un pic. Asta inseamna ca stratul de ozon rarefiat va traversa tara noastra saptamanile urmatoare.

"Pierderea ozonului se agraveaza pe zi ce trece. Probabil ca gaura aceasta nu va putea fi atenuata in urmatoarele 10-14 zile," e de parere Markus Rex, un om de stiinta de la Institutul pentru Cercetari Polare, cel care monitorizeaza miscarea acestei gauri.
